Marcus Crestani is a software architect at Active Group GmbH. His particular interests lie in functional programming, software architecture, and programming languages. He also has extensive experience in teaching and has successfully designed, organized, delivered, and evaluated numerous training courses and professional development programs. As an iSAQB-accredited trainer, he teaches CPSA courses. He regularly presents at technical conferences.

As Chief Organizer, he is part of the Active Group leadership team. He takes care of planning, workflows, and processes with the goal of improving value creation and productivity.

In his software projects, he works on the development and operation of large, streaming-based event systems with long-term storage and time-series databases in the field of manufacturing and automation in semiconductor fabrication.
