Active Group Now Employee-Owned

Yesterday was a big day for us: We visited the notary to transfer the company shares of Active Group completely into employee ownership. This is a first major step to sustainably secure the future of Active Group. We will use the engagement of the 13 shareholders from our staff to strategically develop the company further. For our customers, we remain a reliable partner, now more than ever.

It all began in 1997 when Active Group was founded by Herbert and Heike Winkel. Since then, it has been active as a software service provider in a huge range of industries, currently spanning from social pedagogy to semiconductor manufacturing.

Since Dr. Michael Sperber became CEO in 2014, the company has also developed into the leading company in functional programming and software architecture. Accordingly, we support customers not only through the development of demanding digitalization projects, but also with consulting and training – the latter as an active member of iSAQB with a comprehensive certified training portfolio.

We look forward to many more years of working together and with our customers. Feel free to contact us if you're interested in these developments or in joint projects!
